My son is 9 and would, quite honestly, do anything under the sun to avoid reading. He then went to the library to find the other books and asked me to buy the ones he couldn't find. My only problem now is.now what. My son picked it up and immediately took to it. So for those of you who are looking for a book for a kid that hates to read.this is your book. What impressed me was that he actually read the whole thing within a day or two and was excited. I don't know what sparked me to buy this book other than the title being cute, but it was the smartest thing I did. He has now read them all.
He would actually take the time to talk about it to me and my husband. How great is that. What do I get him interested in next to keep this flow of reading going. Just be prepared to buy the whole series.
This is a laugh out loud book. My four boys took turns reading to each other and laughing. Have a reluctant reader. Try this book.
Greg lies and says that he threw the cheese away, so that on body would know that Rowley ate the cheese. This story takes place in a neighborhood and a school. Guess what. Greg feels bad about it.
Rowley is very weird. He has only one friend whose name is Rowley. They play a game at school where there is a rotten piece of cheese. Next, his dad scares the teen agrees and splashes water on them.
A little later in the story he auditions for the" WIZARD OF OZ". Greg has a older brother and has a band. If you touch it you have the cheese touch, until you touch someone else. After that, they go trick-or-treating. Diary of a Wimpy Kid is about a boy who gets made fun of because he has a diary.
After, Halloween his dad makes him join the wrestling team at school. Every time he wrestles he. Greg gets the part of a tree. Greg gets in a friend Rowley and they aren't friends any more. Then, Greg and his friend make a haunted house. The main character in this book is Greg Heffly. Later, in the school year the teen agrees come back to seek their revenge, so they make Rowley eat the rotten piece of cheese.
Greg' s dad likes to jump out of the bushes and scare people by splashing water on them. After that, some teen agrees start chancing them in their truck. On the next day of school, the kids notice the cheese is gone. Greg got his friend back.I would recommend this book to people who like funny books and, happy endings.

Dairy of a Wimpy Kid By: Jeff Kinney is a story about a kid named Greg Heffley who has a miserable life. This story takes place in the United States. Greg is not an only child he has two brothers Manny and Ridrok.Manny is a tatle-tale and calls his brother Bubby. I would recommend it to my cousins and friends. It happens in present day.
The only reason he did it was if he was going to be famous he was not going to answer guestions all day. Greg is always into trouble and is always coming up with good and bad ideas all of the time. His worst fear is if some big kid saw him with it. My book is about Greg sometimes making a problem better and sometimes making it worse. He also gets in trouble a lot. I would recommend this book because it makes you laugh.

The story begins at a school, and he says this is not a diary. Then, when he gets in class he has a journal.
Finally, when Manny brings his super model brother's magazine to school. This is a story is mostly about a kid that is teased by his brother and other kids at his school. He try's to do something about it, and he gets in trouble.My favorite part of this book is when he gets in trouble, and when they make the Haunted House. It takes place in September, and he got bullied and everyone called him a sissy. When he gets there he is getting called a sissy. I like this book because you can't stop reading it. I would recommend this book to people how like funny books, and who like a good laugh.
